Chuck has always been passionate about family and business. When the chance came to build something meaningful with his brothers-in-law, Pat and Pete, he jumped in. Through CrossWaterCreek, Chuck hopes to support the fly fishing community while celebrating the outdoors with the people he loves most.
"It’s easy when your partners are family. We know each other, we trust each other, so we jumped in with both feet." – Chuck Walls

Pat McCabe was introduced to fly fishing at age 10 alongside his brothers at their family cabin on Silver Lake, where summers were spent fishing together and developing a lifelong passion for the sport. In the 1980s and 1990s, Pat worked for and was mentored by legendary fly angler Andre Puyans at Creative Sports. He later guided on the Henry’s Fork and has been an instructor at The School of Trout in Idaho since its founding in 2018. CrossWaterCreek brings a long-held dream to life—combining his business background with a lifelong love for fly fishing.
“It’s something that really inspires me to find some peace and connection to something greater than me. That draws me back over and over.” — Pat McCabe
Co-Owner
Pete fell in love with fly fishing as a kid, fishing with his brothers, Pat and Tim, and road-tripping around Idaho and Montana. Mentored by the legendary Andre Puyans, he guided on the Henry’s Fork before becoming an attorney. CrossWaterCreek marks his return to the sport and his commitment to preserving it for future generations.
"It’s all about giving back—we’re on this Earth for a fairly short period of time and it behooves us to preserve this gift for future generations." – Pete McCabe
