Participants are encouraged to bring their own fly rods and reels, but we will have some available for those who do not.

Jason Renfroe
Jason is our skilled instructor, partnering with the CrossWaterCreek team to lead fly fishing workshops in at our storefront in Lafayette, CA. Jason brings a deep passion for fly fishing and years of experience teaching anglers of all levels. As the founder of Renfro Fly Fishing, he has worked with hundreds of local anglers across Northern California, helping them build confidence and skill on the water.
At CrossWaterCreek, Jason will be leading our Intro to Fly Fishing workshops and Intermediate Casting Courses, designed specifically for beginners looking to build a strong foundation in the sport. We’re proud to partner with Jason and bring his thoughtful, experienced approach to our growing community of anglers.
