We paired a windproof, breathable, microporous laminate, 4-way stretch woven shell with a gridded fleece interior to create a softshell jacket that can handle all the elements you deal with on the water: wind, rain, snow, and fluctuating temperatures. Then, we also added the same waterproof seam tape we use in our hardshell jackets to keep you dry in everything but the heaviest downpour.
